Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions:
If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
Who owns the Anything But Ordinary Boutique?
I do, just me. Patricia Conte. I do have help when needed from Sue Esposito and IT help from my son Randy.
How long has the boutique been in business?
I started formally in April of 2023 with a lot of help from my son Randy the computer guru.
Where are you located and where do the items ship from?
I am located in Central PA. I started the business while I was living in North Carolina, hence the "NC" part of the website address, Anythingbutordinarync.com
I do carry some stock so they will ship directly from me. Other items will ship directly from the vendors I work with to save time in shipping the items to you, my customer.
What about returns?
I am an online shopper myself and know the importance of a good return policy. Anything can be returned as long as I am notified within 7 days of delivery to you that you'd like to return it. I will initiate the return and give you a return number to include with the items being returned. Please do not use a free box from the post office for your return because the box is free but the shipping cost is twice the price. At this time I cannot pay for return shipping. I am a small business trying to get some traction and unfortunately cannot compete with Amazon.
What sets your boutique apart? Why should I shop with you when there are so many other online boutiques?
First of all, you get me. If you email, message, text, or call, I personally will be the one responding. I am available to help you put an outfit together for an interview, a date night, a party. I am available to help with accessorizing ideas. I can help you with gift ideas. I personally choose every item on my website. I try to find pieces that go from classic staples to more trendier pieces. My goal is to create an extraordinary shopping experience where each one of my customers feels like they are shopping with a friend.
Is this an actual boutique or multi-level marketing?
This is an actual online boutique that I own and operate and not affiliated with any multi-level marketing company.
Are your products new?
Yes, every item is 100% brand new. I'm not a thrift store, secondhand store or selling my own used items.
Do any of your products come from Shein or Temu?
Absolutely not. They are from vendors all over the United States. One of my vendors actually has a section on their website called "Not seen on Shein".
Do you offer gift wrapping?
If the item is something I am personally shipping from my location, I absolutely do offer gift wrapping at no extra charge!
Do you have any other items besides what you post on your social media?
Yes!! My website has over 1,000 items listed for sale.
I have to buy a gift and cannot decide on one, do you offer gift certificates?
Yes! On the Anythingbutordinarync.com website, I've added a menu heading for Gift Certificates. They are available in denominations of $15 - $100
Is there anything new on the horizon for Anything But Ordinary Boutique?
Yes! I'm always working on the website to streamline the shopping and browsing process. Much like me, it's a work in progress. Keep checking back and please let me know if you have a suggestion! Next to roll out will be our Extraordinary Personal Shopper Program. Soon you will be able to click on the button and fill out a form to get a personalized shopping experience. An Email list will also soon be added where you'll receive updates, information on contests, what's on sale and coupon codes.
I appreciate each and every one of you for your support.
Who am I? I was born and raised in NY. Started out in Queens and then Long Island. I raised my kids in Seaford. I have four grown boys who all had the nerve to grow up and get jobs and lives and two have spouses and I do not see them nearly as much as I'd like. They are all smart, strong, and loving and make me proud all the time. I live in Central PA now and I'm a paralegal for the Commonwealth of PA. I have always loved fashion and accessorizing and helping people. If I can make a person's day a little easier by helping to choose an outfit or a top to go with pants she already has or helping someone choose a gift, I feel happy.
Stay Extraordinary!
